Sama is in love with Patrick, an all-American boy. But, Sama is not your typical teenager. Born to a traditional Muslim family, she discovers that is she to be betrothed to a 32-year-old Muslim man. Sama does not want to get married. She and Patrick runaway, but her mother and her ultra-conservative brother, Rami find out and now, not only is her forbidden love at risk but also her life.

I AM
Adam is an architecture student whose assignment for this semester is to build a home for The Perfect Human. He makes himself the subject of his investigation and goes on a journey to deconstruct what a perfect human is. Adam is the creation of a writer, who is using Adam to explore her obsessions with self-identity and time, as an essential element in the shaping of one’s identity. The writer exists in the imagination of a filmmaker who is trying to visualize his next project, which has something to do with his dire need to answer the question: Who am I? And he is using the writer to help him navigate the deep waters of a subject too philosophical for his own good.
